a 3.4 mile race, organized by The North Medford Club. This will part of their Summer Racing Series, and is open to all runners.
Entry fees: $5.00 for all non-members, $3.00 for NMC members who want a prize, no entry fee for NMC members who waive prize.
All races with the exception of trail races include a race walk.
No Preregistration, just show up at the pub on race day starting at 12:15pm. Note, the start of the race is .4 miles from the pub, so plan accordingly. 'Pot Luck' food post-race. Cash Bar! Great craic after the run!

Who was Mister Bean ? He was a Greyhound dog owned by Paul and Cynthia Curley, proprietors of The Grey Hound Pub, from 2000 until his death in March of 2007. He was a professional athlete in his youth, racing at a few greyhound tracks in West Virginia, before retiring at the age of two. For more detailed info about his racing career, click on this link:

Adopted by the Curleys in the Summer of 2000 through Greyhound Friends, Inc. of Hopkinton, Massachusetts and brought smiles to everyone he met. He was the inspiration for the name of the Pub that Paul and Cynthia own.
